SolidWorks Essentials - For those who wish to have a good fundamental understanding of SolidWorks. Covers all the basics, from part modeling, creating assemblies, and general design drawings and detailing. Weighted towards part design. Drawings and Detailing - This 2 day class is geared towards the drafter and takes an in depth look at detailed drawings and annotations. No modeling is covered, nor is SolidWorks Essentials a prerequisite for this class. Generally speaking, most students attending the Essentials course will not require the Drawings & Detailing course. SolidWorks Advanced - For those going beyond basics, this class consists of 3 days of advanced part modeling and 2 days of advanced assembly modeling. Got a model or assembly you think SolidWorks can do but you're not sure how to get there? The Advanced class is probably for you. The perfect class for achieving a well-rounded SolidWorks education. SolidWorks Essentials is required prior to taking advanced training. Sheet Metal - This one day class covers all aspects of sheet metal design in SolidWorks, including creating in-context sheet metal parts within an assembly. SolidWorks Essentials is required prior to taking sheet metal training. Routing - The newest addition to the SolidWorks training roundup, routing reviews basic functionality related to creating routes in the 3D sketcher. Training then moves through utilizing pipe, tube and fitting libraries. Finally, creating cable routes and wire harnessing is covered, including harness nailboarding. SolidWorks File Management - One of the most common questions asked by SolidWorks users is how should they manage their files? This one day class will help to answer those questions. Those working in a networked environment and sharing files between users will find this class to be especially valuable. PDMWorks End User - All the basics of how to manage files using PDMWorks, including login/logout, checking files in and out, working with projects, checking file references or where files are used, plus a host of other topics to make your work day easier. PDMWorks Administration - This half day course is strictly for those personnel, typically an IT person or CAD manager, that will be maintaining and managing the PDMWorks vault, backing up documents, maintaining user accounts, and other similar activities. Specialized Training - Certain training speaks for itself. For example, COSMOSFloWorks training is obviously only pertinent to anyone wishing to learn the software of the same name. Self-Help / Self-Paced Training - Due to a lack of demand, certain courses have been removed from our curriculum. This includes PhotoWorks, SolidWorks Utilities, and Animator. New self-help manuals are available for these areas of interest, and can be purchased through CADimensions. i.get.it eLearning - Self-paced training via the internet, i.get.it training is available through CADimensions on an annual subscription basis. Available for a variety of topics, i.get.it is an excellent and convenient way to learn at your convenience, at your own pace, in the comfort of your own home. |
