SOLIDWORKS Simulation Professional

Prerequisite: SOLIDWORKS Simulation
Course Description: SOLIDWORKS Simulation Professional is designed to make SOLIDWORKS Simulation users more productive with the SOLIDWORKS Simulation Professional extension. This course will provide an in-depth coverage on the advanced topics in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), including heat transfer analysis, frequency analysis, fatique, stability analysis based on the linear buckling concepts, 2D simulations (plan stress, strain and axisymmetry) and pressure vessel modulus.

SOLIDWORKS Simulation Premium: Dynamics
Length: 2 days
Prerequisite: SOLIDWORKS Simulation
Course Description: SOLIDWORKS Simulation Premium Dynamics is targeted for the users who would like to become productive in analyzing structures subjected to various types of dynamic loading. The material covered includes the time dependent analysis (force loads as well as motion shock loading example), harmonic analysis and random vibration analysis.

SOLIDWORKS Simulation Premium: Nonlinear

Prerequisite: SOLIDWORKS Simulation
Course Description: SOLIDWORKS Simulation Premium Nonlinear teaches how to deal with models that exhibit large displacements and/or yielding, discuss and practice the use of many material models available in SOLIDWORKS Simulation and, most importantly, how to drive a non-linear analysis to successful completion.

SOLIDWORKS Motion

Prerequisite: SOLIDWORKS Essentials and experience with the MotionManager.
Course Description: SOLIDWORKS Motion teaches you how to use the SOLIDWORKS Motion simulation package to study the kinematics and dynamic behavior of your SOLIDWORKS assembly models.

SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation
Length: 2 days
Prerequisite: SOLIDWORKS Essentials
Course Description: SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation teaches the fundamental skills and concepts central to successfully performed CFD analysis. The techniques taught are widely used by designers analyzing devices that interact with fluid; such as vehicles, pumps, chemical apparatus and ventilation systems.

SOLIDWORKS Plastics
Length: 2 days
Prerequisite: SOLIDWORKS Essentials and a fundamental knowledge of plastic materials, plastic part design, and/or injection mold design.
Course Description: SOLIDWORKS Plastics teaches you how to use specialized simulation software tools to predict how melted plastic flows during the injection molding process. Predicting how the plastic will flow enables you to predict manufacturing defects such as weld lines, air traps, short shots, and sink marks. By predicting these defects you can change the part or mold geometry, the processing conditions, or the plastic material itself to eliminate or minimize them, saving energy, material, time, and money.
