The Weldments portion includes the creation of welded structures and cut lists. |
E. Solidworks Drawings SolidWorks Drawings takes an in-depth look into detailed drawings and annotations. No modeling is covered. Generally speaking, most students attending the Essentials course will not require the Drawings & Detailing course. This class is geared towards SolidWorks users who will be creating or modifying drawings almost exclusively and will do little or no modeling. Engineers and designers who wish to expand their knowledge of the SolidWorks drawing environment may also wish to take this course |
F. SolidWorks Workgroup PDM Administrator This half day course is strictly for those personnel, typically an IT person or CAD manager that will be maintaining and managing the PDMWorks Workgroup Vault, backing up documents, maintaining user accounts, and other similar activities. |
G. SolidWorks Workgroup PDM User All the basics of how to manage files using PDMWorks Workgroup, including login/logout, checking files in and out, working with projects, checking file references or where files are used, plus a host of other topics to make your work day easier. |
H. SolidWorks Routing Routing class reviews basic functionality related to creating routes in the 3D sketcher. Training then moves through utilizing pipe, tube and fitting libraries. Finally, creating cable routes and wire harnessing is covered, including harness nailboarding. |
I. SolidWorks Advanced Surface Modeling SolidWorks Advanced Surface Modeling class covers the tools needed to create complex, and organic shapes. Utilizing different surfacing tools, knitting surfaces and creating solids from surfaces are all covered in this course. |
J. SolidWorks Mold Design SolidWorks Mold Design class covers core and cavity design, including using different analysis tools, surfacing, and mold tools to make your design complete. Topics include creating parting lines, shut-offs, applying draft, tooling splits, lifters, core pins, electrode design, and more. |
K. SolidWorks File Management One of the most common questions asked by SolidWorks users is how should they manage their files. SolidWorks File Management class will help to answer that question. Those working in a networked environment and sharing files between users will find this class to be especially valuable. |
