Fall is now upon us, and that means chilly air, leaves changing colors, football…and CADimensions Rollout Events! October is always a very exciting time for us at CADimensions, for it means the latest version of SOLIDWORKS is upon us. We can’t wait to get our hands on it to try out the new features, and new products that SOLIDWORKS has released. I have been around SOLIDWORKS for many years (the first version I used was 1999), and it still makes us feel like kids on Christmas when the new release comes out. This year is no exception, and we cannot wait to show you, our customers, all the new enhancements and products.
The Rollout Events will be held at all stops along the thru-way, begin in early October:
The Rollout Events are not only a way to show you what’s new in SOLIDWORKS 2017, but also a way for you to meet the voice on the other end of the technical support call. It is also a way for us to provide some training and tips on the software to make your usage of the software easier. We start the morning off at 8am in each location, with an entertaining presentation of What’s New in SOLIDWORKS 2017.
After lunch, we have an afternoon filled with training sessions. The application engineers will present a new list of tips and tricks before our Breakout Sessions. For our SOLIDWORKS core users looking to gain some new skills, we have sessions based on Parts, Assemblies, and Drawings. For those looking for more information on other products in the SOLIDWORKS Ecosystem, we will have breakouts for Simulation, Electrical and PCB, Visualize, and PDM Pro. There will also be informative sessions for hardware considerations with SOLIDWORKS machines and our Additive Manufacturing Group will be showcasing our 3D printer line.
Our presenters this year are probably familiar faces, and definitely familiar voices. We have six main presenters again this year, and each grouping will bring a unique chemistry to the presentation.
In addition to our main presenters, we also have a great group that will be on hand for the afternoon training sessions. Art James, our Data Management Group manager, Scott Blackwell, our PDM specialist, Tom DiLaura, our Electrical Specialist, and Jeff Lewis, manager of the Additive Manufacturing Group.
We look forward to seeing everyone there, and kick off an exciting new release of SOLIDWORKS 2017!
You can register for one of the events HERE. Please stay tuned for other dates in other cities at the end of October.
