Step 3: Inspect and Ship Final Product

Once the prints are inspected for quality, they are packaged and shipped.

CADimensions 3D Scanning Services

Manufacturing Uses

Are consistent quality issues causing headaches in production? Utilize CADimensions scanning services to get a more in-depth view into the shape of the part to identify the problem. Uncover the root of problems before they cost you any more money by having a scanner provide a more detailed look at your part.

Reverse Engineering

Are there parts that you don’t have a CAD file for? If you’re trying to re-create a product by hand, the process can be tedious and painfully slow. 3D scanning is ideal for reverse engineering because light scanning is accurate, and the turnaround time to generate a file is very fast.

Quality Control

Are parts with complex or detailed shapes slowing down your inspection process? 3D scanning allows you to accurately capture all critical points of your product without cumbersome gauges or calipers. It’s fast, easy and detailed.

CADimensions Product Development

CADimensions Product Development

No matter how far along you are in the product development process, our engineers can help bring your ideas to market. Whether you are working alone, at a startup, a small business, or at a large company, we can offer affordable product development services.

Drafting and Model Making

Sometimes you’re just at capacity and it doesn’t make sense to bring aboard a FTE for a short time. CADimensions’ engineers can assist with getting you CAD models complete so you don’t miss deadlines.

Photo-Realistic Rendering or Virtual Prototyping

Get near-perfect images of your product before a physical prototype is available for photography. Our skilled engineers can make renderings that are indistinguishable from a real photograph and place it in settings where you can show it being utilized!

Design Optimization

Our experts have years of experience using SOLIDWORKS both here and in the field. Trust in our guidance as you run into roadblocks on your way to fine-tuning your design.

CADimensions Design Validation with SOLIDWORKS Simulation

Even companies that own and use SOLIDWORKS Simulations tools often find themselves maxed out in terms of their ability to produce studies on time with delivery dates.

CADimensions is able to run your advanced simulation and validation studies on our machines, freeing up your time and resources.

Plastic Flow Analysis

Plastic Flow Analysis is designed to be used specifically for plastic part and mold analysis. SOLIDWORKS Plastics can take your proposed part/mold design and simulate the exact production environment so you can be certain that it will produce the desired results accurately. Being able to accurately predict the performance characteristics of your mold prior to ever cutting metal will reduce your time to production as well as eliminate costly reworks.

CFD Analysis

Computational Flow Dynamics or CFD is another very advanced tool available through the SOLIDWORKS Simulation suite of software. Getting an accurate picture of how your product will interact with liquid or air can be crucial to understanding limitations and capabilities in the real world. CADimensions is proud to partner with a licensed engineer who is able to help those looking to run this type of analysis but who maybe need outside help due to time, personnel or usage limitations. Don’t let your backlog prevent you from hitting time sensitive deadlines, we’re here to help.
