Cloud CAD Customer Success Engineer

This is a remote full-time position with the option to work from our Syracuse NY office. Reporting to the Product Team Manager, you will act as a product specialist for the SOLIDWORKS 3DExperience Platform portfolio of products. This role requires strong communication skills, and the ability to work closely with customers. A Product Success Specialist is responsible for working with CADimensions sales team to understand customer’s needs and demo/advocate the correct software package for them. Additionally, the Product Success Specialist is responsible for all aspects of the Cloud products, including advanced training, onboarding, services work, advanced technical support, and Customer Success Activities (CSA). Our normal hours of service are 8:00am to 5:00pm EST 

In this role, you should expect to:

  • Be the Customer’s collaborator, who listens and understands problems and able to provide helpful solutions and a path forward.
  • Respond to all in-bound sales activities around the Cloud product set.
  • Provide best practices recommendations based on customer needs.
  • Demonstrate, install, onboard, and configure SOLIDWORKS 3DExperience Platform (Cloud) portfolio of products to customer requirements.
  • Prioritize and schedule different tasks to enable sales and customer success.
  • Be a thorough, detail oriented, quick-on-their-feet, outside-of-the-box thinkers who will act as the customer’s partner.
  • Partake in knowledge sharing activities, publishing technical marketing videos, supplying technical presentations, and reviewing documentation
  • Obtain relevant certifications in the SOLIDWORKS and 3DExperience portfolio of products.
  • Travel to customers, when required, and to company sponsored events (Up to 10% travel may be needed once travel restrictions are lifted per official health regulations.)

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills

Bonus points if you have:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Technology or related time in the field. 
  • Experience with Engineering processes and workflows
  • Knowledge of SOLIDWORKS family of products
  • Experience with other CAD platforms
