SOLIDWORKS Essentials

Cost: $1950 per student
Essentials teaches you how to use SOLIDWORKS mechanical design automation software to build parametric models of parts and assemblies, and how to make drawings of the same. This course is ideal for new users.
This course will help you prepare for CSWA, CSWP, and CSWE certifications through SOLIDWORKS, including CSWA – Mechanical Design, CSWP – Mechanical Design, CSWE – Mechanical Design, and CSWPA – Sheet Metal.
Introduction to SOLIDWORKS
1-Day
Cost: $300 per student
Introduction to SOLIDWORKS is an optional, preparatory course for the SOLIDWORKS Essentials Class. This course serves as an introduction for users who are new to CAD and focuses on understanding the basics of parametric modeling, sketching and extrusion techniques, as well as acquainting the user to the interface of SOLIDWORKS. This course prepares students by providing additional examples, hands-on exercises and definitions as preparation for the SOLIDWORKS Essentials class.
This course will help you prepare for topics covered in the CSWA – Mechanical Design SOLIDWORKS Certification.
Sheet Metal
2-Days
Cost: $950 per student

Sheet Metal will teach you how to build sheet metal parts in SOLIDWORKS. Topics covered include building stand-alone sheet metal parts, converting parts to sheet metal including in assembly context. This course covers topics in SOLIDWORKS certifications such as CSWE – Mechanical Design and CSWPA – Sheet Metal |
Drawings
3-Days
Cost: $950 per student

SOLIDWORKS Drawings will teach you how to make drawings of SOLIDWORKS parts and assemblies. Users working in drawings will benefit from this class but it does not cover 3D modeling.

Assembly Modeling
