Is my CAD file kept confidential?

Yes. Your files are used only to quote and produce your parts, and they are never shared outside our team. We’re glad to sign an NDA before you upload anything, just ask and we’ll get one over to you.

What file formats can I upload?

STL, STEP, IGES, SLDPRT, 3MF, and OBJ. If your model is in a format that isn’t listed, send it over anyway and we’ll convert it for you.

How do I get a quote for 3D printed parts?

Upload your CAD file to the quoting tool at the top of this page, then select your material and print setting. Pricing appears immediately, with no account required. If you get stuck, use the “ask for help” button and an Application Engineer will reach out.

How long does it take to receive my parts?

Turnaround depends on the technology, material, part complexity, and quantity. Quotes are available the same day you upload. For a lead time on your specific order, contact our team directly or ask during checkout.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

No. We print single prototypes and volume production runs on the same fleet, in the same building. Order one part or one thousand.

What types of parts can CADimensions 3D print?

Manufacturing aids, jigs, and fixtures; end-use and replacement parts; prototypes for form, fit, feel, and function; hyperrealistic multi-material prototypes; end-of-arm robotic tooling; and volume production parts for manufacturing.

Where are my parts manufactured?

Every part is produced in-house at our FabLab in East Syracuse, New York. Our own team prints, washes, inspects, packages, and ships your order. Nothing is outsourced.

What happens after I place my order?

Your order goes to our printer fleet and manufacturing begins. Once printing is complete, support material is removed in our wash tanks, parts are inspected for quality, and then they are packaged and shipped to you.

What if I don’t have a CAD model, or need a material that isn’t listed?
