It’s hard to believe that it has already been a year since we tragically lost our friend and colleague, Larry Maturo.
Larry was taken much too soon but his memory and legacy live on. From his name on the CADLIFE Trophy to the stories and memories we continue to share, Larry lives on.
We are very proud to share with you all that Larry’s legacy bike racks were installed at Onondaga Lake Park and Chittenango Falls State Park. Larry’s family started this project right after his passing and we were very humbled and honored to be part of it. The design of the rack was done internally using SOLIDWORKS, the fabrication was completed by Universal Metal Works and replicas were 3D printed for Larry’s family.
All in all, a great amount of love and respect for our friend got poured into these bike racks. This past month would have been Larry’s 29th birthday, his family, friends, and colleagues from CADimensions gathered at the park to dedicate the bike rack to Larry.
Today we remember our friend and while we still grieve and miss Larry, we can all find comfort in knowing that we are positively impacting the community in his honor.
